President & CEO
I have been lucky to have grown up in Madison, graduate from West High School and receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I have a wonderful wife and two great young adults of whom I am very proud. When time allows, I enjoy participating in club activities at Road America near Elkhart Lake, WI. I have been a member of the Shelby American Automobile Club since 1975, and I do not remember not owning a Mustang since I began driving. As an Eagle Scout, I also enjoy camping in Wisconsin and traveling across the US.
I have been involved in the memorial business since 1972 and remember the early years as hard work. The privilege of working along side my father for over 35 years taught me some of the most important values in life. Honesty and sincerity are reflected in our daily operations. There is a tremendous amount of satisfaction in helping families make their memories last forever. I am especially proud of our service to the communities we work in. Our commitment to Veterans and their families is unmatched.
One of the most rewarding aspects of owning a small, multi-generation business is watching the employees grow as they move along in their lives. I am extremely proud of all of our employees because of their genuine desire to help others. Thank you for your interest in our company.
After many years of sweeping floors and asking “What do you want me to do next, Dad?”, I started working full-time in the shop in 1999 at the age of 14. Since then I have continued to develop my talents as a stonecutter, memorial installer, and project manager.
As a lifetime Wisconsin native, I grew up in Cottage Grove and graduated from Monona Grove High School in 2004. After high school, I attended UW-Eau Claire and graduated in 2008 with a degree in Business Management.
I take a great deal of pride in the art and memories that families and communities allow us to be a part of. I am very proud of our staff. They are some of the most talented and caring people in the stone industry.
I am a 2008 graduate of UW-Madison with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dance. I am happy to have been a part of the Pechmann Memorials family since 2009. I enjoy talking to people from all walks of life, and helping families during their time of need.
In addition to my time at Pechmann Memorials, I also teach dance at Kris Pickar’s School of Dance (Sauk City, WI) and am a company member with Li Chiao-Ping Dance.
