Upright MemorialsThe upright memorial is the most common used monument today. The top piece is called the die, the bottom piece the base. Both sit on a granite foundation which is buried in the ground to keep the memorial level This particular memorial has a soccer ball vase along with a porcelain picture from Italy and an etched snowboarding scene to personalize this memorial |
Slant MarkersThis is a double slant marker with a base and concrete foundation. This particular memorial has a few carvings such as the roses in the upper corners as well as a cross with rings to highlight a marriage date. |

Flush & Bevel MarkersFlush markers, like that one seen in the picture to the left, are set flush to the ground to allow lawn mowers to mow over the top of them. Bevel markers on the other hand are raised above ground, with a slight taper to allow for rain to roll off. This particular memorial has his and her carvings in the upper corners, along with a few other unique carvings. |
